Kindergarten Readiness Preschool- PLUS
Free half-day every day preschool option with transportation included.
Anoka-Hennepin Schools is one of 74 school districts and charter schools to receive additional state funding to offer free, voluntary pre-kindergarten classes.
Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS is open to any family with a child four years of age by September 1, 2017 who live or attend daycare in the attendance area of:
• Adams Elementary School
• Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School
• Monroe Elementary School
The program offers a curriculum that is aligned with the district kindergarten curriculum. Licensed teachers monitor child progress and development throughout the school year. Children gain skills and experiences in:
• learning to follow routines and rules
• learning to get along with other children
• literacy, books and writing
• and math, science, art and music Classes are offered in both morning and afternoon sessions and follow the Anoka-Hennepin School District calendar meeting Monday-Friday. A summer school component is also included to extend learning opportunities. Free transportation and breakfast / lunch is also included.

Educational Service Center 2727 N. Ferry St. in Anoka( Enter Door No. 7) Thursday, February 9 from 6:30-8 p. m.
Come learn about the variety of Anoka-Hennepin preschool programs. You will have the opportunity to chat with some of our teaching staff, tour classrooms and explore our new online registration system.
This event is free and open to all parents / guardians of preschool-aged children( age three or four by September 1, 2017).
It’ s a casual event designed to make the preschool selection process a little easier.
