FIELD TRIPS
Field trips may be scheduled as part of the non-school day or summer curriculum . Adventures Plus contracts with the Anoka-Hennepin School District transportation companies to provide transportation to and from the destination .
Children in attendance are required to participate in field trips . Parents / guardians will be notified in advance of field trip dates , destinations , and expected times of departure / return . It is essential to arrive on site with adequate time before departures .
Field trip admissions and transportation costs are included in the NSD fees . Please do not send additional money with your child .
Children may also participate in local walking trips .
Adventures Plus reserves the right to cancel , or change any field trip due to inclement weather for your child ’ s health and safety .
SCHOOL-YEAR bound
SCHOOL-YEAR ADVENTURES BOUND INFORMATION
Adventures Bound is a full-day , school-year child care program offered by Adventures Plus , for four-year-old preschool children at Brookside and Johnsville Elementary Schools .
PRESCHOOL-INFUSED CHILD CARE
Experienced and friendly child care staff will lead the Adventures Bound program throughout the day in a student to staff ratio of 10:1 . Our staff will utilize a research-based curriculum that features hands-on exploration and discovery as a way of learning .
Children must be four years of age by September 1 , of the current school year to be eligible .
Priority registration will be given to current Adventures Plus families .
SCHEDULES
Hours : 6:30 a . m . – 6 p . m . | Monday – Friday
Adventures Bound will follow the Anoka-Hennepin Schools calendar . Non-school-day care will be available with kindergarten-grade five students in the Adventures Plus before- and after-school care program for an additional fee on most non-school days , but elementary school care sites may vary . Registration and payment for these opportunities will occur one month prior to each non-school day .
