AKASPORT is looking to get kids motivated to embrace Minnesota winters and get outside with AKA Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing class. Students will get technical instruction and plenty of participation in favorite Nordic pastimes. Dress prepared for the weather, including snow pants, jackets, hats, gloves, and boots. All other equipment is provided. Winter has some wonderful things that it offers. Let’s get out and enjoy it! Class will be held unless extreme conditions interfere. Ultimate, originally known as Ultimate Frisbee, combines the non-stop movement and endurance of soccer with the passing skills of football in a fast-paced game played with a flying disc (Frisbee). The game is intensely strategic and will help you develop sharp throwing skills, stamina and agility. You’ll even get to enjoy the “spirit of the game” by playing/competing with other middle school teams in the district.
