Are you passionate about science, technology, engineering and math? Then
this computer-based camp is for you. Working in pairs we’ll explore logic, pattern
recognition and math concepts as we build increasingly sophisticated WeDo Lego
designs, and develop basic programming techniques using custom-made

Do you like airplanes? Want to learn how to fly a real radio-controlled (RC) airplane?
Then join the Aviation Club and get hands-on experience with our cool RC airplanes!
Learn the ins and outs of the aviation world. You will have plenty of one-on-one
instructor time to help with assembly and flying Jackson Middle School flight
simulator and school-owned airplanes. Parents are invited to watch. Meet at
the Grassfield RC Club, 8901 101 Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. If rain or windy, meet
at Jackson Middle School. Students are required to bring a completed Academy
of Model Aeronautics form to the first day of class.

BABYSITTING PREPARATION
Prepare yourself for future babysitting jobs so you can earn some extra spending

BABYSITTING: AMERICAN RED CROSS CERTIFIED
Parents are looking for certified babysitters! Get a leg up on the competition with
this American Red Cross class that prepares you for a wide variety of babysitting
situations. Through hands-on activities, you’ll learn about the basic care of young
children including safety and responsibility, age-appropriate activities and first aid.
Boys and girls at least 11 years of age are welcome to participate. Class includes
a comprehensive babysitting manual. Must complete the entire class to receive
certification. Bring lunch and snack. Class size is limited, so register early.
