GARDENING: CAN YOU DIG IT?
Making healthy food choices is definitely more fun when you grow the food yourself! In this
camp we’ll “dig” into the science of gardening by learning about seeds, soil, worms, and
composting. Activities include seed art, soil secrets, earthworm anatomy, and garbage gardens.

NASA ROCKET LAUNCHER
Do you dream of traveling to the stars or moon some day? Then this summer adventure is
perfect for you. We’ll build rockets based on different propulsion systems and shoot them up
into the air. We’ll even launch a rocket with a parachute to learn about rocket recovery and
repair. You’ll also create an electric car in case you want to explore the moon. Take a rocket and
an electrically powered vehicle home. Get ready to have a blast in this class! Bring a nut-free
snack and beverage, and wear sunscreen. Presented by TecTacToe

a day camp for girls entering grades 7-9. Learn about careers by doing hands-on projects
and field trips. Learn about careers careers such as welding, architecture, mechanical drafting,
