Parenting is a journey with both joys and challenges. Taking ideas from the
book, “Top 20 Parents,” by Willow Sweeney, we will share tips and tools
to add to your parenting toolbox. Learn how your thinking, learning and
communication influence your daily parenting. Topics include emotional
intelligence, temperament, listening, and conflict resolution.

How to Talk so Little Kids Will Listen
Using the newest version of the “How to Talk” book as our guide, we will
explore ways to handle such things as screaming in the car seat, pinching
a sibling, full-on temper tantrums, etc. Learn ways to help with big feelings
and provide a happy home and family.

Children learn by doing. Come try lots of fun activities that can even be
done at home! Ideas will be shared on ways to do the activities based on
the age of each child. Fun will be the flavor of this class! A licensed parent
educator will guide parenting discussions on the power of play and other
