Baby Signs (3-14 months)

Babies have a lot to say even before they can speak. Research shows
that babies who learn sign language learn to talk earlier, feel more
confident, and can be happier. Learn signs surrounding the areas of
mealtime, bedtime, bathtime, dressing and more.

Nuts About Nature (30 months up to kindergarten)
A naturalist from Three Rivers Park District will guide the class in
exploring the outdoors. This will be a hands-on experience using all
of the senses.
*Sibling care is available for this class – $25/child. Registration is required.

NEW! Preschool, Here I Come!
Attending Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
meetings is a great way to learn more
about school district programs and make
personal connections with other families.
The parent volunteers of the PAC
support your ECFE and Anoka-Hennepin
Preschool programs by sharing their
energy, ideas and suggestions. Meetings
are held the second Monday of each
month during the school year from
6:30 to 8 p.m. Child care is provided.

starts preschool! This is the time to
practice getting ready for preschool
by listening to stories, singing,
painting and making new friends!
Parenting discussion will focus on

• Community Baby Shower – in honor
of “Week of the Young Child,” the
PAC hosts a community baby shower
to collect new baby supplies (diapers,
formula, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, etc.)
for families with young children who are
in need.
• Dinner nights out – watch for details
on Facebook in January about how
you can support ECFE and preschool
classrooms when you dine out at local
restaurants.
• Garden center gift card fundraiser –
details to come in early spring about
purchasing garden center gift cards –
a great option for spring gift-giving
holidays.
Proceeds raised through fundraising activities are used
directly to support classroom activities and equipment.
