Adventures in Parenting

Parenting is a challenging job with struggles and trials . For some , the challenge is even more difficult due to :

• mental health issues or anxiety ,

• added stress of money concerns ,

• parents with their own learning difficulties , or

• lack of family support .

This class offers parenting education , community resources , children ’ s learning activities and time to play for parents facing these unique challenges .

Limited transportation is available .

Congratulations , you ’ re a grandparent ! Whether you are a full-time caregiver grandparent or you occasionally care for your grandchild , this class is meant for you ! Grandparents will have the opportunity to paint , play , sing and read with their grandchild . Grandparents will also have time to talk with other grandparents about their role as caregiver , boundaries and the joys of being a grandparent .
