Entering kindergarten is a major transition in the life of a child as well as parents and guardians . While it is an exciting time , it can be stressful too . Join us for information , resources , and support to assist you in preparing your child for success in school .
Each week a Parenting Educator will meet with parents / caregivers for discussions on topics :
• Social-emotional development ,
• Importance of sleep ,
• Positive discipline strategies ,
• Schedules and routines ,
• Responsibility and independence , and
• A parent ’ s role in school success .
