Baby Signs ( 3-20 months ) Babies have a lot to say even before they can speak . Research shows that babies who learn sign language learn to talk earlier , feel more confident , and can be happier . Learn signs surrounding the areas of meal time , bed time , bath time , dressing and more .
This class is presented in an online format ; information on how to join the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts .

Wonderful Ones ( 11-20 months ) So much has changed in your child ’ s first year ! Spend time with your oneyear-old learning , discovering , and playing in a classroom designed for exploring and moving as well as parenting discussion on topics related to the joys and challenges of this age . Ones & Twos ( 12-35 months ) This is a time of HUGE growth for children ( and families ). Enjoy time in our classroom , set up just for your young child . You will have an opportunity to meet other families who are also experiencing the changes of their child from one-year olds to toddlers !

Parents , Kids & Preschool
( 36 months up to kindergarten ) This preschool class meets two days a week . At Coon Rapids Family Place , the first day , parents and children attend together . The second day is for children only . Parent attendance is expected in order for the child to participate in the childonly day . Activities are aligned with the Anoka- Hennepin Schools kindergarten curriculum to enhance the development of social skills , math , literacy , music , and science . Parenting topics include getting ready for kindergarten , setting limits , bed time , and more .
Parenting discussion for spring classes held at Andover Family Place will be held online . M / W class : Mondays at 11 a . m . T / Th class : Tuesdays at 6 p . m .
