AGE-SPECIFIC CLASSES

Babies , Babies , Babies ( Birth to 12 months ) Join other families to play and learn in a baby-safe environment . Babies will have fun with activities and songs ; adults will learn about development , early learning activities , sleeping and eating . Parents / caregivers and babies remain together for the entire class . Spanish speaking teacher in online class . Sibling care is available at Riverview – $ 30 / child per semester . Registration is required .

What are age-specific classes ?

The age of the child attending the class must fall within the age guideline during the first week class is held . Each class includes parent / child time , learning activities for children and parenting discussion .

If you need a class for children of various ages , consider a mixedage class , found on pages 7-10 ; or classes with the sibling care option .

NO CLASSES :

ECFE classes will not be held on March 29 , April 5 , and July 5 .

Infant Massage ( Birth to 12 months ) Learn how to massage your baby ’ s entire body . These techniques help infants relax , relieve colic or gassy spells , and promote bonding in the parent-infant relationship .

This class is presented in an online format ; information on how to join the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts .

Babies 2.0 ( Birth to 3 years ) The birth of your second , or third or ?? child isn ’ t quite like the birth of your first . You have more confidence in the newborn phase , yet it doesn ’ t come without challenges . Discuss a wide range of topics to help support you , your older child / ren , and your new baby through the transition . Come learn , laugh , and connect with other parents who are sharing the same experience . Siblings up to age three are welcome , although the class focus will be on the baby .

Babies , Toddlers & Twos ( Birth to 3 years ) Learn about your child ’ s development from sleeping to eating to tantrums , plus how to find time for you , and the many questions of parenting during COVID-19 . Joyfully explore each stage of raising a child from infancy through toddlerhood . Fun songs and stories will be shared in class that can be viewed again and again outside of class .
