(birth up to kindergarten)
Everyday Parenting
Everyday parenting brings everyday questions. How do I...? What’s normal?
Why does he...? Am I...? Why doesn’t she...? How do I do...? The list is neverending!
Join us to discuss your child’s development and get answers to your
everyday parenting questions. You’ll discover simple, effective responses to
the everyday challenges that we all have. Plus, you and your child will benefit
from playing and learning together.
Parenting discussion for Monday Riverview classes will be held online on
Monday afternoons – 2-3 p.m.
This class is presented in an online format; information on how to join
the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts.
What are mixed-age
classes?
Mixed-age classes are designed
for families with one or more
children, ranging in age from
birth up to kindergarten. Each
class includes a parent/child time,
learning activities for children
and parent discussion.
Other than the baby classes, the
parents/guardians will typically
separate for a portion of the
class time. See website for class
separation details.

Open the Door, Let’s Explore
Explore and discover the world outside through experiential, hands-on
activities. Parenting discussion will include how to help children learn through
common everyday experiences. Weather permitting, we will go outside to
our nature area for outdoor activities. Parenting discussions will also be held
outdoors. Dress for outdoor play every week.
