PRESCHOOL 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR ANOKA-HENNEPIN SCHOOLS FOUR-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL – OPTION 2 Free, half-day every day preschool option with transportation included. No income eligibility guidelines. Option 2 is open to residents of the Anoka-Hennepin School District with a child four years of age by Sept. 1, 2019, who live or attend daycare in attendance areas of: • Adams Elementary School • Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School • Monroe Elementary School Student class placement FOUR-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL OPTION 2 CLASS LOCATIONS AND ATTENDANCE AREAS ADAMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Adams Elementary School attendance area. EVERGREEN PARK WORLD CULTURES COMMUNITY SCHOOL Evergreen Park and Monroe Elementary Schools attendance areas. Students will be placed in morning or afternoon classes based on school district bus routes. Families will be notified of the preschool class schedule before August 2019. Registrations are welcome throughout the year and will be placed as space is available until classes are full. Class schedule Classes are held Monday-Friday with both morning and afternoon sessions. Classes follow the Anoka-Hennepin School District calendar. Meals As part of the U.S. Free and Reduced School Meals Program, children attending preschool in the morning will be served breakfast. Children attending preschool in the afternoon will be served lunch. Online registration and availability Registration for 2019-20 classes began in February 2019. Eligible families may visit our website for more information or to register.
