Anoka-Hennepin Community Education coordinates Kindergarten
Readiness Preschool PLUS, which is a free half-day preschool option
with transportation included.
It offers the same school readiness curriculum that is aligned with
Anoka-Hennepin Schools kindergarten curriculum. Licensed teachers
monitor child progress and development throughout the school year.
Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS is open to Anoka-Hennepin
families with a child four years of age by September 1, 2017, who live
in or attend daycare in the attendance areas of:

• Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School

INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS
The Kindergarten Readiness
Preschool PLUS program is
designed to align with the
Anoka-Hennepin Schools
kindergarten curriculum.
Students will benefit from a
rigorous and consistent class
schedule.
Classes are offered in both morning and afternoon sessions and
follow the Anoka-Hennepin School District calendar, Monday-Friday. A
summer school component is offered to extend learning opportunities.
Free transportation and breakfast/lunch is also included. Licensed teachers work with the
students to practice and target
the following learning areas:
Online registration • Literacy
Registration for the 2017-18 classes began in January. Eligible families
may visit our website to register. Applications are accepted until all
classes are full. • Math
