Allergen Free Baking
Cake Decorating-Beginner
Do you or a family member have food allergies? Are you
disappointed that you can’t eat the delicious treats of the
season? This class will arm you with simple recipes and
suggestions for making allergen free cookies. You will leave
knowing how to adapt future recipes at home. Join instructor,
Emily Manson, for a fun evening of making and baking. Bring a
container to take home your cookies to share with your family.
Class fee:$29.
Take ordinary and make it extraordinary! Learn how to decorate
your own cakes for special occasions. Create a rose, drop flowers
and leaves. Learn how to print and more! Decorate three cakes
over the five-week class. This is a hands-on class. Additional
supplies are needed; they will be discussed and may be
purchased at the first class session ($30 and up). Class fee: $49.

Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day
Want to make bread with great flavor and texture? Learn to
make savory, healthy loaves in less than five minutes using
dough that you mix in minutes. You will leave class with a batch
of bread dough, a warm loaf of bread, plus additional recipes.
Bring a four-quart mixing bowl with cover, a set of measuring
cups and spoons, and a large wooden spoon to class. This is a
demonstration, hands-on and tasting class. Supply fee of $8 cash
paid to instructor at class. Class fee: $45.

Braising Meats and Vegetables
Braising uses wet heat to cook meat and vegetables to
mouthwatering perfection. Join Jan Zita Grover for an afternoon
of braising a New Mexico pork roast and an extravagant version
of Midwestern beef pot roast. We’ll probably have time left
to bake a pie! This is a hands-on class. Extensive handouts
provided. Supply fee of $13 cash paid to instructor at class.

Learn how to use candy melts to create tasty treats! Practice
basic dip, drizzle, and molding techniques that can be applied to
a variety of different treats including filled chocolates, pretzels,

Chicken and More Chicken
Who loves chicken? Learn how versatile, simple and healthy
cooking with chicken really is. You will use skillets and the oven
to prepare and sample chicken: cordon bleu, marsala with sage,
Philippine adobo, strips with spicy dipping sauce, white wine
with mushroom sauce, crab-stuffed breasts, and many more!
