Fairy gardening is a huge trend, and is a fun and easy way to
add a touch of whimsy to any space. You will create your own
indoor fairy garden using a container, soil, miniature plants and
accessories. Learn how to care for and prune your garden to
keep your plants small. Class held at Mickman Brothers Garden
Center in Ham Lake. Supply fee of $20 plus tax paid at class.

Grow Your Own Mushrooms at Home
Growing your own mushrooms is easier than you think!
Instructor, Ron Spinosa, will demonstrate two amazingly simple
techniques; one using rolls of toilet paper and another using
pelleted newspaper. Discover additional methods for growing
other mushrooms, such as shiitakes on logs. Leave class with an
oyster mushroom spawn kit to bring home. Additional kits will be
available for purchase. Class fee: $39.
Bring a touch of the tropics into your life! Create a fantastic
floral arrangement using exotic flowers and foliage that is yours
to keep. Learn about tropical flower selection, arrangement
ideas and care for them through the Minnesota winter. Piece
measures approximately 18 in. x 24 in. Instructor, Tiffany
Hammond (AIFD), has 25 years of floral experience. Class held
at Always Eventful Floral in Coon Rapids. Supply fee of $30 paid
