Growing Up In Small Town Anoka Make Your Own Fishing Rod
Do you have a desire to learn more about Anoka’s history?
Join local authors, Barbara Thurston and Laurie Mackechnie,
in reliving some colorful Anoka history through their own
experiences. Discover the importance of preserving your own
history for upcoming generations. This event will feature stories
shared from their books along with an interactive discussion.
Books available for purchase after program. Class fee: $19. Build your own fishing rod from start to finish. Choose from
a spinning or baitcasting 6 ft. 6 in. medium/light rod ($95) or
extendible Muskie rod 6 ft. 6 in. to 8 ft. 6 in. ($150). A completed
fishing rod, depending on the craftsmanship, can be valued in
excess of $300. Please indicate when registering what type of rod
