NEW | Climate Change and the Global Order Get Smart with Your Android Smartphone
Climate change has become one of the defining issues of our
time. As much of the world bands together to come up with a
plan, the U.S. remains the notable holdout. What is the rest of
the world doing to combat climate change? What impact will
the effects of climate change have on global geopolitics?
These questions and much more will be discussed. Class
held at Margaret Place Senior Apartments in Coon Rapids.

Mobile devices have become our schedule keepers, navigation
devices, cameras, entertainment centers, alarm clocks and
money managers. But are you truly making the most of this
technology? This hands-on class will show you functions
you can use on a daily basis and offer you the tools to learn
more advanced tricks at your own pace. March 3 class held at

Hollywood History-Monster Movies of the
40s and 50s
Calling all movie and film buffs! Monster movies came roaring
back to movie screens in the 1940s and ‘50s with some of the
greatest monsters yet: the Wolfman, the Creature from the Black
Lagoon, Godzilla, and more. Learn how the fading genre came
back with a vengeance in the ‘40s, how Lon Chaney Jr. became
Universal’s go to monster movie star, meet the woman who
created the Creature, and find out how America saved Godzilla
from obscurity! North Metro TV Studio Manager, Eric Houston,
will provide a lecture along with rare photographs and tons of
terrific film clips. Class held at North Metro TV Station in Blaine.
