55+ Defensive Driving-8-Hours (New)
Understanding Medicare
Learn how and when to enroll in Medicare, what is covered by
the different parts of Medicare and supplement options. Discuss
the ‘donut hole,’ prescription drug coverage and ways to avoid
Medicare fraud. Find out where to go for more help. Take home
the booklet, Health Care Choices, published by the Minnesota
Board on Aging. Instructor is a volunteer from the Metropolitan
Area Agency on Aging. Class fee: $19 one; $25 two.

NEW | Yoga-Gentle Yoga for Boomers
Gentle Yoga is perfect for boomers and seniors. We will move
through seated and standing traditional and modified yoga
poses with additional focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, and
restorative breathing, promoting stress reduction and relaxation.
This class is shoe-friendly and joint-friendly, and we do not get
down on mats. Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.

Zentangle Basics
Go beyond doodling, get your creative juices flowing and practice
artistic meditation. Learn the theory and basics of zentangle. It’s an
easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive
patterns. Create miniature pieces of black and white art on 3.5
in. paper tiles. The entire process is broken down and taught one
stroke at a time. No artistic talent is required; Zentangle is great
for both new and experienced artists. Supply fee of $10 paid to
instructor at class. Class fee: $29.
