Springtime Watercolor NEW | Beginning Sewing 102-Tote Bag
Explore watercolor painting with your friends in this fun and
relaxing class. You will create a beautiful seasonal painting
using a technique called “wet-in-wet.” This class is designed
and adapted for all levels of experience. See website for class
meeting location. All supplies provided. Class fee: $29. Are you comfortable with your sewing machine and ready to
tackle a simple sewing project? In this class you will learn how to
cut out a pattern, read directions, and piece together a simple,
yet functional tote bag. Feeling adventurous? Add a pocket to

Need help with a current knitting or crochet project you are
working on? Join instructor, Connie Jones, and friends, for one
or both of these evenings for a little assistance to help you along
the way. Bring your knitting or crochet project along with your
questions. Class fee: $15 one session; $25 both sessions.
Discover the joy of watercolor as you explore techniques,
compositions, watercolor mixing and washes. You will incorporate
basic art elements and principles into a variety of paintings.
Join educator and artist, MaryLeah Marshall, in this fun, relaxed
atmosphere where subject matter is seasonally themed and
instruction is adapted to include the new or experienced artist.

Join us for this fun, informative class where you’ll learn all you
need to get you started on your sewing journey. Review key
sewing terminology, practice threading and stitching, as well
as demystify machine “feet” and stitch “symbols.” You will
also learn about sewing accessories, reading patterns, and
fabric types. The last class is an optional field trip to a local
fabric store, where we’ll put our learning into action! Sewing
machines provided. Bring your our own thread and a $5 supply

Learn the early method of rug hooking using a simple hook
to pull loops of wool fabric through a linen backing. You will
create a simple mini rug of your own design from examples
given in class. Perfect to use as a mug mat, coaster or trivet.
These mug rugs are sure to be conversational items in your
home and will fit into any decor! Bring a 10 in., 12 in. or 14 in.
quilt hoop, small scissors, pen/pencil and lunch to class. Supply

Macramé is a beautiful art form which uses repetition and knot
tying to create stunning works of art. You will learn about the
basics of how to tie a wall hanging, what materials are needed
for creating a macramé piece and where to find them. See
