NEW | Fun with Liquid Watercolors NEW | Mosaic Tall Garden Art
Liquid watercolors are especially brilliant and transparent
because they contain dyes as well as pigments. They are so
versatile and can be as intense or as muted as you make them. It
is a great experience for every level of watercolor painter, from
those just learning the process or those with more experience
who have been painting for a while and want to wake up their
paintings or learn new techniques. Class fee: $29. This piece will add height and color to any yard. Using colorful,
pre-cut glass you will design your pole and personalize it with
words such as welcome to my garden, love grows here, etc. Top
it off with a beautiful mosaic butterfly. Dress for a mess - wear
old clothes. Bring an old terry cloth towel and a pint-sized jar
with a lid. Supply fee of $33 cash paid to instructor at class.

Watercolor-A Seasonal Approach Stained Glass-Suncatchers
Discover the joy of watercolor as you explore techniques,
compositions, watercolor mixing and washes. You will incorporate
basic art elements and principles into a variety of paintings.
Join educator and artist, MaryLeah Marshall, in this fun, relaxed
atmosphere where subject matter is seasonally themed and
instruction is adapted to include the new or experienced artist.

Mosaic Birdbath
Make a birdbath using a terracotta clay base and mosaic tiles.
The birdbath is both functional and a beautiful, artistic garden
accent. Discuss wrought iron stand that can be purchased in
local home improvement stores. Wear old clothes; bring a
small disposable plastic bowl and rubber gloves. Supply fee
of $25 cash paid to instructor at class. Class fee: $29.

NEW | Mosaic Glass Window Pane
Window-pane mosaic windows are all over Pinterest and now you
can create one. Bring your own ideas or use patterns provided
to create a 20 in x 24 in. four pane project. No glass cutting or
soldering required and you still achieve the same look as a lead
stained-glass window. Dress for a mess - wear old clothes. Bring
an old terry cloth towel and a pint-sized jar with a lid. Supply fee

“Dip your toe” into stained glass and see if it’s a craft for you.
Instructor and artist, Lisa Schwartz, has been working with glass
for almost 40 years. Learn the fun way to break glass. In this class,
you will learn how to use tools to shape and grind the glass, apply
copper foil and solder your pieces back together. Choose your
colors and your projects from the patterns provided. Students
will take home three to four finished pieces. See website for class

NEW | Stained Glass-Beginner
Learn to make beautiful art glass creations from an accomplished
artisan who has been working with glass since 1979. Break glass
with purpose and create amazing works of art that light up your
life. Assembly method being taught is called copper foil, where
a thin copper foil is bent over the edges of the glass so it can be
soldered to hold the piece together. You can choose your own
project and will need about $120-$150 in tools and supplies.
