Bicycle Maintenance for Women
Fix that flat tire yourself! Learn critical maintenance tips and fixes
including how to clean your bike, make simple adjustments,
and when and where to lubricate your bike. Areas of the bike
that will be discussed: Tire and tube service, chain cleaning and
lubrication, cable tension, bike washing and safety inspection.
BYOB – Bring your own bike (to work on). Class held at Trailhead
Cycling in Champlin. Class fee: $29.

Boating Safety
Enjoy Minnesota waters safely this summer, plus receive a possible
discount on your boat insurance. U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
instructors touch on boating law, safety equipment, navigation,
trailering, storing and protecting your boat, hunting and fishing,
water skiing and river boating. Class meets the requirements for
watercraft operator permits in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Bring
a bag lunch. Participants ages 12 and up may take this course if
attending with a parent. Supply fee of $15 cash or check for book
paid to instructor at class. Class fee: $25.
