Carlson ’ s “ Llovable ” Llama Farm boasts over 30 personable and curious llamas . Come learn about their sweet and unique characteristics , see baby llamas and even take a llama on a trail walk . There is also a gift shop for llama yarn and toys . Class held at Carlson ’ s Farm is in Waconia . Transportation is on your own .

Examine things like lithophane , trench art , U . S . Zone china , a U . S . 3 cent nickel , precious gemstones , mourning jewelry & German silver . No pictures or books in this class , everything is “ hands on ”. Bring one item , no larger than a shoe box to the first class , research its value on your own with the research tools you ’ ve been given , then compare your results with the appraiser ’ s at the second class . Aloha ! Step back in time and get “ all shook up ” as Elvis takes center stage for an entertaining show with tropical flavor . This Hawaiian-luau themed concert , featuring the talented Todd Anderson of Absolutely Elvis , promises to excite the senses and delight audiences of all ages in this colorful tribute to the iconic “ King of Rock and Roll .” Concessions will be available for purchase at the tiki hut . This Community Inclusion event is supported by the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation .

Birdwatching is a hobby that can provide you with a lifetime of enjoyment . Be introduced to the basic elements of birding , such as bird shape , size and feeding patterns that you can use to identify your feathered neighbors . Handouts and resources to help you get started on your birdwatching adventures will also be provided . For the second class , we will meet at a local park to birdwatch and see who has started to migrate through Minnesota . Beginners welcome .
