home Power Tools for Women I Kokedama Explore the world of power tools and woodworking in this introductory, hands-on class. Week one: Learn to safely use drills, sanders, routers and saws. Everyone will use all tools. Week two: Complete a small woodworking project to take home. Note: Long hair must be tied back and no loose clothing for safety reasons. Kokedama is a Japanese term derived from “koke” meaning moss, and “dama” meaning ball, in the Bonsai tradition of creating artistic forms with plants. Your plant will grow in a ball of soil encased in moss secured by twine, string or wire and can be hung in a window or placed on a tray or dish. See website for supply list.
