NEW | Raising a Moving Child
Howling with the Wolves
Unlock your fidgety child’s ability to learn and focus. Discover a
revolutionary way to help children who have trouble focusing,
paying attention, or sitting still. Uncover the link between the body
and the brain. Parents, teachers, and caregivers will gain a wealth of
information, actionable tips, and games that you can use everyday.
Instructor: Gill Connell, a child development specialist in learning
through movement and play. Co-sponsored by Anoka-Hennepin
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE). Certificate of Attendance
for training hours available upon request. Class fee: $10.
Join us at the Wildlife Science Center, the area’s premier wildlife
facility, to learn about some of Minnesota’s most fascinating animals.
Resident wolves, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, lynx and raptors will
be the focus of this informative program around the campfire. At the
end of the program, toast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate.
Class held at Wildlife Science Center in Columbus. Class fee:

Family Trail Ride at Bunker Park Stables
Give your little ones an opportunity to learn and grow
No experience is necessary to enjoy the natural beauty of Bunker
Hills Regional Park from horseback. Your guide is extensively
trained and experienced. Ride rain or shine, so dress for the
weather. For ages eight and up and 52” or taller in height. Class
held at Bunker Park Stables in Andover. Class fee: $29 per person.

Hayride at Bunker Park Stables

Gather your family and friends and pile on for a fun-filled hayride
pulled by a team of gentle draft horses. Start out your evening
enjoying a bonfire at 6 p.m. and then finish off the night with a
hayride from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dress appropriately for the weather. Class
held at Bunker Park Stables in Andover. Class fee: $15 per person.
