Holiday Tea at Ticknor Hill

earless Pressure Cooking
Autumn is a terrific time to discover the advantages of
the contemporary pressure cooker. Learn four rules for
safe stovetop pressure cooking and be prepared to roll
out delicious, quick meals. Cook fried chickpeas in 11
minutes, navy beans in three, cheesecake in 12, risotto
in seven and juicy pot roast in under an hour. The quick
and dependable pressure cooker is a staple pantry
item. Extensive handouts provided. Bring a stovetop
pressure cooker if you have one; not required. Taste all
that you cook. This is a hands-on class. Supply fee of
$10 cash paid to instructor at class. Class fee: $39.

NEW | Greek Dinner for Two
Take a culinary journey to Greece where you will make and enjoy
a full meal. Make Soupa Avgolemona (a lemon flavored chicken
soup), Saganaki (flaming cheese appetizer) and an eggplant
appetizer. Also master Spanokopets (spinach rolls in phyllo).
Top off your feast with walnut cake with orange syrup. This is a
hands-on class with eating afterwards. Supply fee of $26 paid to
the instructor, Laurel Severson, at class. Class fee: $45 two.

Enjoy delicious Asian cuisine without the heavy ingredients.
Chef Anu brings you some of the best dishes low in fat, healthy,
nutritious and absolutely yummy from around the world. Explore
Japan with a silken miso corn soup. Venture into Thailand with
grilled chicken satays with a low-fat creamy sauce and fresh
cucumber salad. Chickpea and corn stir fry masala from Northern
India serves a healthy twist on stir fries. Lastly, savory Srilankan
string hoppers are steamed and seasoned with coconut and
chutney. Instructor provides all supplies in this hands-on class.
Class fee: $55.

Bed and Breakfast in Anoka. Experience the holiday charm of this
renovated Victorian home and see why many have made this a
family tradition. Take home recipes and tea tips. Doors will open
at 6:45 p.m. for participants. Class fee: $29 one; $55 two.

stations, each making a different treat. There will be a great
variety for you to share with family and friends! This is a hands-on

the art of making three of Buona Sera’s most popular pasta sauces
plus perfect homemade pasta. Bring the Italian kitchen to your
home with these fabulous dishes. Recipe booklet provided and
