Computer Essentials 101
NEW | Computer File Management
When it comes to computers, do you feel like the world is passing
you by? Whether you are just getting started on a computer or
need a refresher, you need this class! Learn to work with menus
and programs, as well as creating and saving projects into folders.
No previous experience necessary. Class fee: $69; call for a $10
discount when registering for Computer Essentials 101, 102
and 103 together.
Need some help knowing where to save that picture, document
or file so you can easily find it? Uncertain how and when to create
folders? Feel like your computer files are a mess or you never really
understood how to keep things organized in the first place?! Gain
an understanding of basic file management so you never again
have to wonder where your saved file, document or photo went.
Learn how to create folders; move, delete, sort and find files; create
shortcuts; discuss file naming; and back-up files. Class fee: $49.

Are you ready to learn about the Internet, not just waste time
looking for things you can never find? Learn how to search for
things you want for fun and for work. Discover how to mark your
favorite websites, copy and paste information, plus fun and
instructional sites that will get you started on any subject you
choose. Don’t skip this class-you need to know how to use the
Internet to keep using technology and information for every day!
Prerequisite: Computer Essentials 101 or strong equivalent to
topics covered. Class fee: $69.

Computer Essentials 103
Create a new Gmail account and learn to send, receive, store
and manage your emails, including how to send to one or many
email addresses at the same time. Discuss cc, bcc and how/when
to you use it. Store and manage contacts so you can access them
from any online computer. Learn to send, receive and download
attachments with emails. Prerequisite: Computer 102 or strong
equivalent to topics
