Reduce test anxiety as you gain first-hand familiarity with the
form and content of the ACT test, including practice on each
type of test item, as well as tactics and strategies for dealing
with all four sections of the exam. Three practice tests and a
study guide included. Bring a calculator, two #2 pencils and a

Win College Scholarships
As the cost of a four-year college often exceeds $100,000, scholarships
are more important than ever. Yet, few parents and students know
where to start. You don’t have to be an academic superstar to win
free college money. This popular course is taught by Jason Lum, a
recent Harvard and UC Berkeley graduate who won nearly $250,000 in
scholarship money and has worked in the Harvard admissions office.
Learn where to find unadvertised scholarship opportunities, how to
complete scholarship forms and what works and what doesn’t work in
competing for scholarship money. Class fee: $25 one; $35 two.

Family Curling
Learn the Olympic sport of curling with your child. Curling is a sport
that continues throughout adulthood and many families curl together
for years. It is great for family, fun, positivity and sportsmanship. This
Olympic sport welcomes all activity levels, is relatively inexpensive
and is low impact with many health benefits. Families with children
as young as age 5 can register to participate. Class held at Four
Seasons Curling Club in Blaine. Class fee: $15 per person.

a team of gentle draft horses while admiring the beautiful fall colors.

Join us at the Wildlife Science Center, the area’s premier wildlife
facility, to learn about some of Minnesota’s most fascinating animals.
Resident wolves, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, lynx and raptors will
be the focus of this informative program around the campfire. At the
end of the program, toast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate while
the wolves fill the darkness with their incredible wild song. Class held
at Wildlife Science Center in Columbus. Class fee: $15 per person.
