Renew REUSE Recycle
Brittan advertised for residents to bring their own jars but also received glass jars from our housing office for those residents who didn't cook often. During the program she discussed recycling on campus and why they were using jars to plant their terrariums. Terrariums are durable plants that do not need much water but require plenty of sunlight. Since it doesn't require much work to keep alive, it is the perfect plant for a college student. She also let them know about all of the opportunities to recycle on our campus while everyone was putting their plants together.
