Brie Chamberlain has laid the foundation of what it means to be an alumni representative in many ways. Her dedication to her role enabled her to plan and implement the first Medical Specialty Symposium, a virtual networking event that brings alum and current students together to discuss specialties.
Brie has also assisted with multiple alumni events and has always been an asset to the RSAS team and to the student body.
As a 4th year, Brie is graduating from UNE COM and is about to embark on the next chapter of her journey.
We wish you all the luck Brie and are so excited to continue working with you as an alum!
The end of the year is always a bittersweet moment. We look back on all the positive memories made, what we've learned so far and yet it is also the time when we reflect and wonder what we could have done differently, how we could've responded to a situation or handled a conversation.
It's also a time when we reach out to those we miss, to reconnect with old friends and potentially connect with new ones.
I am honored to say that I was able to witness this in action at the many receptions hosted
throughout the East Coast this past Fall semester. I was able to visit Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania and personally witness so many prospective and current students meet and network with one another while also engaging with our alumni.
I heard from alum about how excited they were to be present and to see others.
Gathering people together is one of my personal joys in life. It allows us to reconnect with one another and it allows me to meet some of our amazing alum in one place and have some face-to-face time.
I know that, with this receptions, there are always more places that we could visit and more alum to reconnect with. For now, I'm looking forward to the year ahead and all the possibilities that it brings with us.
Cheers!
