History: This month in history classes, we worked on our life timelines. Posters were designed with events and happenings in the world around us from when we were born to the present day. For many, this included personal milestones, such as starting school and first holy communion, and global events such as recent presidential elections, technological and medical advancements and natural disasters.
Glencree fighting words workshop: On the 21st of November our TY students enjoyed a trip up to Glencree in the Wicklow mountains for a fighting words workshop. This was a great course as it allowed us to create a story using communication and co-operation as everyone shouted out ideas to make the story as interesting as possible. We enjoyed a walk in the mountains as we visited the graveyards of German soldiers from both World Wars.
