Swimming: Throughout November, we have spent our Thursday afternoons in the swimming pool in Graiguecullen, Co. Laois. There, we learn vital skills on water safety and lifesaving techniques when it comes to swimming in open spaces.
Sign Language: Big thanks to Ms Kathleen O'Brien for teaching our TY students the basics of sign language, using facial expressions, hand shapes and finger spellings to convey people's thoughts and ideas.
TY Comedy Tour: Ger Carey's one man show is a true delight. Using dramatic comedy and classroom stereotypes, Ger poses such questions as: "Why do lads have to get on the back of the bus?" and "What is the best wrong answer?". These and many other questions were asked and answered. Through the use of comedy, Ger explored the weird and wonderful life of a TY student.
