Samuel L. Jackson’s visit
to Ghana was to shoot to
a documentary on slavery
ENSLAVED. The renowned
actor has appeared in over 150
movies and he is best known
for his role played in Marvels
movies AVENGERS. After
tracing his roots to Gabon, he
came to Ghana to shoot the. He
visited places like Makola, fish
markets, beaches and other
places. He took pictures and
videos on his vlogs which are
still trending. Producers of the
documentary have started work
and Samuel is the host of it. It is
revealed that the documentary
would be a six-part series.
The documentary is aimed at
revealing the horrors of slavery.
The third Hollywood actor is
Danny Glover. With respect
to the YEAR OF RETURN, he
came after Steve Harvey had
paid a visit to Ghana with
a group called NATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF COLORED
PEOPLE (NAACP) in Jamestown,
Virginia. He also took his turn
visiting interesting parts in
the country. The Hollywood
actor and NAACP enjoyed the
country’s culture and tradition.

‘Family Fued’ in Ghana
A
merican comedian and television host, Steve
Harvey is heading to the African continent
with popular show ‘Family Fued’.
His company, Steve Harvey Global has
obtained rights to launch and host Ghanaian
and South African versions of the television show.
Harvey’s company got the franchise license from
Fremantle, a British international television content and
production/distribution subsidiary of Bertelsmann’s RTL
Group.
“Bringing Family Fued to Africa has long been a dream
of mine”, syas Harvey who has hosted family Fued since
2010. “I believe family Feud will become a household
name for South African and Ghanaian families. And
this is just the beginning in Africa. I expect this show
to lead to multiple media and business projects in and
throughout the continent”.
It is available in over 70 international markets including
the U.S., United Kingdom, Australia, France, India,
Indonesia and now Ghana and South Africa. Production
will start in October 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa,
and will air in mid-2020. Rapid Blue, a member of the
BBC Studios family of production will produce the
African versions of the game show.
