In terms of design, both devices look great. Huawei Mate X looks exceptional. The Mate X folds completely into a single unit, leaving no gaps like that of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The Samsung Galaxy Fold looks bulky when folded considering that fact that we are in the era of ‘thin’ devices. However, the Mate X when folded exposes the screen at the back which might be a major con- cern for some consumers. The Samsung Galaxy Fold offers a better alternative – a third screen when folded, so you don’t have to worry about your main screen. So far what both Samsung and Huawei have released are prototypes however the products will be made available starting this April.
