FLOWKING STONE did great but he was just minding his business. He was doing something but he wasn’t so loud. CLS: ‘Not so loud’, we will leave it at that. One of the major issues that come up each year during the Ghana Music Awards has to do with organizers being bias towards artistes from the south as against the rest. FLS: A year ago, I would have given you a straight forward answer. Maybe I don’t care as much these days. CLS: Because you’re tired of complaining or because you’re getting old? FLS: Hahaha no it’s not because I’m getting old. I think the more you focus on that, the more you get disappointed. So I rather not focus on it. If you don’t make that your focus and you get that recognition, I think it’s more fulfilling. CLS: What is your take on the state of security in this country following the situation in Kumasi? FLS: I think our politicians must look further than themselves and their families. They create some of these things that happen. For some political reasons they create these problems. If care is not taken and they get to the next level, only God knows what will happen in this country. It saddens me when these people want to play with us for political gains. We can only pray for the best. CLS: Let’s draw the curtains on our conversation. Any concert for Flowking’s fans? FLS: Oh yeah, we are putting a tour together for the Gifted 2 album this year so they should watch out for it. CLS: It’s been great talking to you. FLS: The feeling is mutual. Just don’t twist my words hahaha
