CLS: On what do you spend the
most: clothes, accessories, per-
fumes, underwear, or anything
else?
DRW: I spend most on my music...
chunk of my money goes into it.
CLS: Are you a bathroom singer?
DRW: I can’t even sing…. to talk of
a bathroom singer. hahaha be like

CLS: Of these group, who do you
love more, your parents, friends,
spouse, kids, siblings?
DRW: Family!!! hahaha not nec-
essarily by blood. But everybody I
vibe with is family and it’s all love
for everyone in that circle.
CLS: What do you do when not
working?
DRW: Chilling in the studio. I’m
always in there even if I’m not
working.
CLS: We all have childhood stories
and experiences which we like talk
about every time. Tell me, how it
was growing up.
DRW: It’s been amazing. learnt a
lot, met a lot of people some good
some bad but I mean it’s all for a
reason. I believe I had probably
the best education and I thank my
parents for that. I attended North
Ridge Lyceum, then Mfantsipim
School, Valley View University and
now I have my CCNA.

CLS: What are your philosophies
in life?
DRW: I’m a strong believer in kar-
ma and also that everything hap-
pens for a reason.
CLS: That is rather a strong philos-
ophy. I believe in karma too but
my philosophy in life is – Love your
neighbor as you will love yourself.
Interestingly, it is a general spiritu-
al rule.
DRW: Yeah! I totally agree that.
CLS: What is your opinion about
the Ghanaian music industry?
DRW: I think it’s moving in the
right direction. I’m very happy that
we the young or new ones are real-
ly making strides. I really believe in
us like Promise, Kwesi, Magnom,
La Meme Gang, B4Bonah, Bryan,
M3dal, plenty names dey…hahaha
CLS: And I totally agree with you.
This generation of music artistes
are really ambitious. I believe
there is room for improvement,
however. If you were the MUSI-
GA president, what would you do
differently?
DRW: Show more love to the pro-
ducers. I mean we form an integral
part in the music making and we
need or deserve more love and
recognition just like the artistes or
musicians.
CLS: Would you say producers are
much recognized in Ghana?
DRW: We are getting recognized
not like we expect but I believe it’s
a process and we’ll get there. Now
we have a lot more producers com-
ing up so we’ll get there.
