CLS: What is your opinion about the Ghanaian music industry? DRW: I think it’s moving in the right direction. I’m very happy that we the young or new ones are real- ly making strides. I really believe in us like Promise, Kwesi, Magnom, La Meme Gang, B4Bonah, Bryan, M3dal, plenty names dey…hahaha CLS: And I totally agree with you. This generation of music artistes are really ambitious. I believe there is room for improvement, however. If you were the MUSI- GA president, what would you do differently? DRW: Show more love to the pro- ducers. I mean we form an integral part in the music making and we need or deserve more love and recognition just like the artistes or musicians. CLS: Would you say producers are much recognized in Ghana? DRW: We are getting recognized not like we expect but I believe it’s a process and we’ll get there. Now we have a lot more producers com- ing up so we’ll get there.
