Grandparents Day…
Do you remember when
you were little and wanted to
play a game but everyone was
too busy? Who played with you?
Grandma or grandpa, right?
Now it’s time to come play
with them. We invite you, and
your family, to join us on
Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m.,
for some games of Bingo with
your grandma or grandpa.

Apple-licious Week
As September rolls around, the weather begins to
change into cooler days and crisper evenings. Autumn is in
the air. Apples are also in the air, or should I say, on the
ground.
September is National Apple Month and we have set

We are going to discuss the numerous varieties of
September is National Honey
Month. We will be as busy as apples, have a taste test to identify types of apples, pick
some apples, then of course peel, cook and make

about these unique creatures. applesauce so we can make our famous apple butter.

We will have a spelling bee,
about Johnny Appleseed, making an apple craft and if we
buzz to music, make a bee
hummer, play Beehive Bingo, get up enough courage, maybe even bobbing for apples.

workers. We may even have
an expert bee keeper on hand
to show us how honey is
