Welcome New Administrator Jessica Rogers
“ As most of you already know , I have accepted the position as administrator of Colonial Springs ,” said Jessica Rogers .
“ I would like to tell you a little about myself as I hope you stop by my office so I can learn more about you . My office is open to everyone , at any time of the day . So feel free to stop by and say hello .
“ I began my career in the health care field in 1998 as a CNA . In 2005 , I decided to expand my education by obtaining my medication technician certification . This allowed me the ability to pass out medication to the residents . That next year , I went into nursing school to obtain my LPN license .
“ My love for long-term care continued to grow and I had dreams of becoming the director of nursing at the facility where I started my career . So I went back to school and received my RN degree in May 2011 . I moved into the director of nursing role that August .
“ In 2012 I was asked to transfer to another facility within the same corporation and continued my career there until I was asked to come to Colonial Springs in 2018 .
“ I have been here for two years and have enjoyed it so much that I decided to take the next step and take my test for the Missouri administrator ’ s license , which I passed last month .
“ I officially took over the role as Administrator of Colonial Spring in September .
“ I have two grown boys . Damon is 25 and married to Jenn . They have two children , Gannon and Emersyn . Hunter is 21 and is married to Arica . They have one son , Weston and another boy on the way . My grandchildren are my pride and joy . I love spending every free moment that I have with them .
“ I enjoy going camping , hiking , boating , swimming and floating ; really , anything outdoors with my significant other , Stan .
“ I am excited to be a part of the CMH family . Please stop by and visit anytime .”
