Golden Age Games

This year ’ s Golden Age Games have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and many of our residents are bummed about not being able to participate . So we decided to host our own games .

On Thursday and Friday , Nov . 12 and 13 , we will be tossing basketballs , kicking soccer balls , milking cows , throwing horseshoes , playing bingo and hosting a trivia contest throughout the day . We might have to go room to room , but it will be well worth it to see the smiling faces and looks of determination to win that gold medal . At 2 p . m . on Friday , we will decide the winners and provide them with their medals at a special ceremony .

In honor of Veteran ’ s Day , we will be having a special celebration to thank these fine gentlemen for their undivided commitment to our country . This event will be held on Wednesday , Nov . 11 at 2 p . m . in the dining room . Thank you to our veterans .
