March Activities 106 Years Young… Will March come in like a lamb or a lion? We won’t even notice because we will be too busy celebrating this month’s events. We have Spring, St. Patrick’s Day the first day of trout season, Palm Sunday and basketball to celebrate. We have so much to do with so little time to do it all. Don’t forget to spring forward on March 8. We set our clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time. St. Patty’s Day is on a Tuesday this year, so we will be able to search for little leprechauns by playing a special game of bingo while we sip our green beverages and have a splendid time. Spring arrives during the third week, so many of our gardening plans, crafts and a spring drive will occur this week. It is all about HOOPS during our last week of March as we concentrate on March Madness activities as it gears toward the end of the tournament. Who will be the lucky winner? On March 21, Clarice Huffman will turn 106 years old. We will be celebrating her birthday in style. Clarice has lived a fascinating life, moving about every four years and opening up cafes, gas stations, pottery and basket stores. Come on over and join us in celebrating Clarice’s 106 years of life. Our party begins at 3 p.m. Let’s see if we can send Clarice 106 birthday cards. Please send them to her at: P.O. Box 978, Buffalo, Mo 65622. 2015 Valentine Court (above) - left to right, Turner Jones, 1st Runner up; Ollie Chapman, King; Iona Rodgers, Queen; and Rita Sexton, 1st Runner up.
