Valentine Fundraiser
It’s time once again for our annual Valentine
Balloon and Gift Giving sale.
This year we will have two different sized
balloons to sell as well as a variety of gifts to give
your loved ones, including personalized stuffed
animals, homemade heart shaped cookies on a
stick, candy-filled coffee cups, and candy-filled
character kids cups just to name a few.
You can come to the activity room to view our
selection of balloons and sample gifts.
Prices and pictures of the items will be posted on
Facebook, Feb. 1.
All items must be picked up from the facility. We
will deliver to the residents.
Fairy Tales, Folklore and Fables
Once upon a time, we learned about fairy
tales, folklores and fables. We still remember
some of them today, such as Little Red Riding
Hood, Goldilocks and the Three Bears or Jack
and the Beanstalk.
This month we are going to go back in time
and concentrate on Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Some of
our activities will be to make a fairy garden,
discuss the moral behind fables and folklore,
make a mirror, mirror on the wall, play fairy tale
bingo, complete an agamograph and make fairy
tale cupcakes for our
birthday party.
