He has now formed MJ Advisor Services to provide independent director and senior restructuring advisory services for companies , their shareholders and other stakeholders in situations under stress , duress or distress , both domestically or globally .
Leonard Gilbert was appointed to the American Bar Association ( ABA ) House of Delegates Select Committee for a oneyear term and the Standing Committee on Constitution and Bylaws Committee for a three-year term .

Scott also participated as Debtor ’ s counsel in a lunch and learn mock sale hearing at the annual American Bankruptcy Institute Central States Bankruptcy Workshop , which took place June 17-19 in Chicago . College Fellow Judge John T . Gregg presided , while the event was moderated by College Fellow Paul R . Hage . Scott hosted three roundtable discussions at the State Bar of Michigan ’ s Real Property Law Section summer conference in Traverse City July 17-20th .
