Working within the service delivery team to ensure statutory and regulatory authority inspections or maintenance tasks, reactive requirement as may result from any inspection or maintenance activity, or reactive task are carried out to the highest standards.
Requirements required the undertaking of Authorised Person duties and responsibilities as required by Ministry of Defence( MOD) Safe System of Work Joint Services Publication( JSP) 375, Volume 3, Chapters 2 & 3 and other technical compliance in accordance with overall contract service delivery requirements at two US Forces Prime contract military sites including military housing.

Sovereign Consultancy Services Ltd- Assistant Establishment Works Consultant( AEWC)/ Establishment Works Consultant
( EWC)
Execution of professional advice, specialist examinations, surveying, monitoring and overseeing works services in support of the MOD’ s establishment’ s property manager. With the former carried out to ensure the MOD’ s estate is maintained in accordance with statutory legislation, Health and Safety legislation, MOD mandatory requirements and good engineering practices as appropriate and in accordance with EWC packages as detailed within DEO( W) specification 005 issue 003 March 1995( incorporating amendment 01 dated 31.10.96).
British Steel- Shift Power Controller
Working within the Energy Team ensuring the safe and reliable operation of High Voltage equipment. All within the parameters of the British Steel and High Voltage Safety rules / regulations to monitor, control and sanction all operations on the Scunthorpe and Immingham sites’ high voltage distribution systems from 3.3KV to
33KV.
Carrying out High Voltage switching operations, High Voltage Testing and issuing High Voltage safety documentation within the Central Power Station were key components to the role. This included monitoring alarms and other data systems to ensure appropriate actions were taken to maintain reliable operations including directing plant-based personnel with investigation into problems with High Voltage equipment. Role included generation of written and electronic reports and influence electrical energy usage.

NHS Property Services- Estates Supervisor
Estates supervisor working under the auspices of the Estates Manager supervision and management of a team of mechanical, electrical and building engineers and craft persons.
Responsible for the execution of minor works, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities across the Estates sites within the Lincoln area. Role also included the management of external contractors. Requirements entailed the coordination, planning, investigation, allocation and monitoring of the estates planned and preventative maintenance systems together with coordination of the reactive maintenance requirements.

Delivery of core service requirements at a primary MOD establishment within Lincolnshire and its dependencies to ensure prime contract requirements were delivered to the correct standard, on time and to budget. This typically included but not limited to management and execution of scheduled inspections, assurance works services undertaken to current legislation, mandatory requirements and good engineering practices including MOD’ s Joint Service Publications( JSP’ s) including JSP 375 volume 3 and DIO publications.
