GRAEME PAGE CONSULTING ENGINEERS
On 1 March 2021 it was eight years since the formation of Graeme Page Consulting Engineers ( GPCE ).
Over the years , the business has grown exponentially , gaining momentum quickly . In the eight years since opening its doors , GPCE has had nearly 900 project enquiries , ensuring that the work keeps rolling in . In more recent years , larger projects have come through the doors , namely Boardwalk Mall ( Gqeberha ), Royal View Apartments ( Johannesburg ) and the refurbishment of Somerset Mall ( Cape Town ).
The company was founded on the principles of efficiency , integrity , and tight cost control and in the eight years of doing business , not a single project has run over budget . In fact , money is often saved for the client . This has always been of utmost importance . The design will always be project-specific , but the financial control is not project specific , it must be critical .
GPCE saw tough and challenging times in 2020 , with the Covid-19 Pandemic ; working harder for less became a reality . However , the firm sees themselves as best equipped to handle the short and medium-term future . Leak detection is critical in commercial and industrial environments to prevent damage caused by water , acid or hydrocarbons . Leaks can be detected on the floor or along pipework carrying a liquid . In the case of cold liquids , the presence of condensation that could lead to water run-off .
Leak detectors are divided into two broad categories , namely area and position . Area detection is where the controller identifies that there is a leak along a cable but does not identify the position of the leak . Position detection is where the controller provides very accurate detected leak distance – in metres . iLED supplies a complete range of both area and position leak detection systems with relay outputs or Modbus RTU for direct integration into a BMS controller . eZi-Leaksense has both standard and custom cable lengths for any application .
Our cables and controllers are CE certified with very fast response / recovery times and do not require replacement after detection of a leak .
