all essential requirements for the manufacture of products . This includes exactly what is required in terms of materials , volume , size , shape , weight , measurements , packaging details , and testing and inspection requirements .
Panel World ’ s manufacturing process is tailor-made to each customer ’ s requirements . They manufacture to order . To ensure that the customer gets what they need , Panel World does a site visit to each and ascertains their needs on-site . From there , they design a product based on the site visits and understanding of the customer ’ s needs . After the customer approves the drawing , they start the manufacturing process .
Muller says Panel World stays up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies by researching and developing new products . It uses highquality insulation in its products , which makes them energy-efficient and helps save on long-term energy usage . “ We believe that using substandard insulation is a mistake because it is much harder to maintain a constant temperature with substandard insulation than with good insulation . We are proud to be the only manufacturer in South Africa that uses the technology we use to manufacture polyurethane panels . In 2017 , we received a grant from UNIDO for our energyefficient and ozone-friendly machine . The blowing agent we use is 100 % natural and has zero effect on global warming . Our panels have a much better insulation value
and mechanical strength , making them among the most technically advanced insulated panels available in South Africa .”
Muller acknowledges that many customers are price-sensitive to some extent . “ We have customers who are willing to pay extra for better materials , such as those with superior corrosion resistance . However , we also have customers who are more pricesensitive and prefer cheaper options . We strive to provide the best value for our customers by offering high-quality products at competitive prices , and can also provide lower-cost options . However , we do have some boundaries on how low we are prepared to go and will never compromise on the quality of our insulation materials . We believe that using inferior materials is unacceptable and would be a disservice to our customers .” CLA
Although the strike had a big emotional impact on my father and me , we came out of it much better than we went in .
