Wycombe Coin names service as key focus

ndependent operator, Wycombe Coin, which services pubs and clubs throughout the Home Counties, has cited E-Service’ s van run as a key factor in its success. Workshop manager Phil Donaghy told Coinslot:“ We have expanded our offering, including a licensed digital jukebox, which is very competitive and generates extra revenue. But the only way to survive and grow in today’ s market is to focus on customer service and be able to respond quickly”. Wycombe Coin changes customer machines every 13-16 weeks and manages repairs on a weekly basis.“ We sometimes get a call from one of our customers and can be on site within a couple of
hours. We have to hold a wide range of spares and accessories to be able to react this quickly”.
To keep up with all the parts needed for the various gaming machines and pool tables, Wycombe Coin currently uses the E-Service van run.
Donaghy explained:“ We use the E-Service van run because the company doesn’ t charge for delivery. The driver looks after everything- paperwork and packaging for collections, which means we don’ t have to visit the post office and save ourselves a lot of time and hassle. We often send back note readers for repair. They are collected on a Friday and are re-delivered on the following week’ s van-run.”

GAMESMAN GIVES SUPPORT TO JAMIE PROCTER FOUNDATION

Senior executives from Gamesman, including managing director Mark Smith and sales manager Martin Rigby, attended the House of Commons recently for a fundraising lunch held by the Jamie Procter Foundation which provides life-changing experiences for disadvantaged young people from Britain’ s inner cities. The lunch, which was hosted by Toby Perkins MP, Labour’ s Shadow Pub’ s Minister and the Member of Parliament for Chesterfield, was the latest initiative undertaken by the Foundation which was established by Angie and Julian Bond in memory of Angie’ s son Jamie, who passed away in 2010.

Expanding on Gamesman’ s support of
the Foundation, Mark Smith said:“ We have a close connection with Julian through the UK gaming industry and admire greatly all of the fantastic work undertaken by the Foundation in memory of Jamie, his stepson. This is a charity with a soul and one which recognises that many children are born into extremely difficult family and social circumstances.”
