more often. People should know that his wounds are fake, especially a religious believer. They should know that when Jesus was crucified, he was not nailed into the palm. If he were to be nailed into the palm, it would basically rip and would not sustain his body weight. Jesus Christ was nailed into the wrist to hold his body up on the cross. There are more bones in the wrist than there are in the palm. Clearly, the evidence of the stigmatic fraud is present. Dating back to the thirteenth century, a Saint by the name of Francis of Assisi was allegedly the first to receive his “holy” wounds. He was also the first to commit the stigmatic fraud. Some say he was so “devoted to imitate Jesus.” The things people do to be praised, right? WRONG! He was trying to be someone he wasn't in order to get the attention he wanted. Another aspect to this fraud is that Francis of Assisi claimed to have an encounter with angels piercing him with the wounds. Either he was delusional, or he had Hysteria; an overwhelmed feeling of an event that happened in the past. What people do not know is that the brain is very powerful in creating images and has the ability to play tricks on you. Hysteria is the most logical reason scientists have to why Francis of Assisi “supposedly” had the encounter with the angels. The wounds were simply phony. Basically anyone can have stigmata if you're willing to take the pain of an acid, or can put the wounds in the wrong places and see how that turns out. Stigmata is simply a misconception and an insane way to seek attention.
