But let’s be clear, there’s a difference between poor & broke. Poor means that you don’t make a lot of money don’t have a lot of money and can’t spend a lot of money. Broke, on the other hand, is temporary. Broke means you don’t make a lot of money yet, don’t have a lot of money now and can’t spend a lot of money at the moment. It’s nice to be in love, but if you are broke you may have to approach dating a little bit differently.
Now if you don’t have much money to spend on the actual date, you better make sure that other things aren’t lacking. Things that don’t cost money but are very important nonetheless. This means being better in other areas of the relationship -
* Having great conversation
* An amazing sense of humor
* Able to spend more quality
time with you
* Being creative & make lasting
memories!
So let’s say you don’t have a lot of money but really want to date someone. Realistically, what should you do? Well, you do have plenty of options.
Here are some suggestions for quality dates that are inexpensive yet fun:
1. Karaoke – Hearing someone croon to their favorite artists always makes for good laughs & lasting memories!
2. Go to a local park & have a picnic – Bring a blanket, some sandwiches and you are all set!
3. Bowling – Bowling is always a fun activity and is even more fun in a group.
4. Go to a local museum – Museums always have an interesting art exhibit going on & are usually free.
5. Exercise – Go hiking, skiing, ice skating, rollerblading or any other activity that gets you up & moving!
