Coding Education Without a Computer and Foreign Language Education in a Primary School

Abstract

The main objective of the eTwinning project Coding Master throughout the school Year was teaching coding without a computer and teching computative thinking, The project was carried out in school year 2018-2019. 19 students from the1st class primary school from Poland and 27 students from the 1st class primary school in Turkey participated in the project. Throughout the school year they were taught coding without a computer and English language.
In our project we decided to improve students' foreign language skills through coding tasks as well as various activities concerning foreign language teaching. Thanks to these activities, students developed foreign language skills and computer-based coding education.
