I started cooking at a young age alongside my mother who was a manager of a catering company. I went to college and studied chemistry and biology and worked in Research and
Development in the Toxicology Laboratory at Bergen Pines Hospital in New Jersey for 15 years. I retired to have 3 children and eventually opened up a Child Day Care. The Day Care is part of the National School Food Program , NJ CACFP, where nutritious meals for the children are made daily. I joined the Auxiliary in 2010 and I am a Past Flotilla Commander and Flotilla Vice Commander. I have held
positions as ADSO-PA, SO-PA, FSO-PA, FSO-IS, FSO-CS and FSO-PE. I am certified as Vessel Examiner, Public Affairs Specialist, Recreational Program Visitor, Boat Crew, AUX Chef and Instructor, Public Education Instructor. In my spare time I volunteer at the American Legion cooking for the members and community.
